Lynne Hooper

Lynne Hooper has traveled around the world and lived overseas but she is most proud to be a third generation born Vancouverite!  Real Estate is a passion she comes by inherently as her Grandfather invested in properties from Alberta to Vancouver Island. And her Mother is also an avid and successful real estate investor in British Columbia.

 
While attending Kitsilano High School, Lynne developed a natural love for the outdoors with hiking the Northshore Mountains, and swimming the many beaches. Furthermore, she shared her Mother’s hobby perusing Open Houses to see all the varied home designs. She grew to love the character homes of Vancouver, watching the skyline grow skywards with the high density developments of the West End, and the developments of the Northshore move up the mountainside. The love for adventure took her to Australia, where she attended Murdoch University in Perth.

Some of Lynne’s highly prized achievements are raising her beautiful daughter, Jennifer; scuba diving the Great Barrier Reef, paddling a Longboat to see the Orang-utans in Borneo, hiking the Inca Trail into Machu Picchu, seeing the sunrise over the Taj Mahal, sleeping in a tree hut in the real “Out of Africa”, climbing Uluru, Australia, diving One Foot Island in the Cook Islands, riding a gondola while being serenaded in Venice, and most recently exploring the Valley of the Kings & hiking to the top of Mount Sinai, Egypt.

Lynne has been an avid supporter of less fortunate children by supporting the orphanages overseas she visits, as well as sponsoring World Vision and supporting Canadian Blood Services. She is so proud to be part of the Macdonald Realty team with their environmental MacGreen Program!
